MVT Series Vertical Lathes

This machine tool is a special-purpose model developed on the basis of vertical lathes. The column adopts a gantry structure to enhance rigidity and meet the heavy cutting requirements of vertical lathes. A ram is used instead of an electric tool post, and a special tool holder is fastened to the end of the ram to complete the machining of various inner holes and end faces.

Ordinary vertical lathes are mostly suitable for processing large and heavy disc-shaped parts. On this basis, this vertical lathe is further capable of processing cylindrical parts, with typical components such as motor housings. This machine tool is more economical and efficient for machining such workpieces.
